Welcome back to the Matchside weekly roundup!
So after a disappointing semi-final, England signed off their World Cup campaign in style, beating France 6-4 in a wild third-place playoff. And anyone who made it to Lord’s for the ODI vs India got to see Ben Duckett smash a record-breaking 141, as England won to seal the series. I’m sure you’re all looking for something to do now the football is over, and luckily there’s plenty happening in London this week.

Two days of top-class Flat racing culminating in Saturday's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes, one of the world's great middle-distance races. Prize money is expected to be at a record high.

Women's race 2.30pm, Men's race 4.15pm.
The World Triathlon Championship Series returns to London, and Olympic champion Alex Yee headlines the men's field on home soil. No ticket needed, just turn up and watch from the Docklands. More info here.
